Monash International Leadership Scholarship
Sir John Monash Fee Scholarship
International students from all countries who have received an undergraduate course offer from Monash will automatically be considered for the Monash International Leadership Scholarship. As a scholarship recipient you will receive a 100% tuition sponsorship for the duration of your degree, and the opportunity to develop learning and leadership skills as an ambassador for Monash University.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
An International student
You must meet the following criteria:
You must have received a full Monash course offer with no conditions
You must intend to enrol full-time in an undergraduate degree at a Monash campus in Australia
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are:
a current Monash student.
studying an Australian Year 12. You may be eligible for the Sir John Monash Scholarship for Excellence.
are commencing in the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD).
in Monash Pathway programs (e.g. Monash College and Monash University Foundation Year).
transferring from another Monash campus or applying to Monash from another Australian University.
Benefits:
100% course fees paid until the minimum number of points for your degree are completed (excludes OSHC, accommodation and living costs).
Participation in the Campus Ambassador Program from your second semester of study.
Invitation to apply for a place in Monash Minds, a leadership program for first-year students.

Selection criteria:
Based on academic achievement.
To retain this scholarship:
You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 each semester.
You are required to participate in the Campus Ambassador Program from your second semester of study for the duration of the scholarship.
You are required to provide a student profile for use in relevant Monash marketing, recruitment and promotional materials and/or events.

No applications required. Students that have received an undergraduate course offer from Monash will automatically be considered.
Can be deferred within the same calendar year only.
Receiving the Monash International Leadership Scholarship has been a life-changing experience. As an international student, this scholarship has provided critical financial support, enabling me to focus entirely on my studies and personal development without worrying about finances. Coming from a modest background, receiving this scholarship has greatly lightened the financial burden on my family. Without the added pressure of balancing both part-time work and studies, I am able to prioritise my education while participating in extracurricular activities and pursuing leadership roles that have enriched my university experience. These experiences have been invaluable in developing my communication, critical-thinking and interpersonal skills and key attributes that will support my future career aspirations.
