Sir John Monash Fee Scholarship
The Engineering International High Achievers Scholarship is introduced to recognise high achieving international students.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
An International student
You must be studying as one of the following:
Undergraduate - A commencing student enrolling in a single undergraduate degree offered by the Faculty of Engineering.
Students must have an ATAR or International equivalent of 95+.
Postgraduate - A commencing student enrolling in a postgraduate degree offered by the Faculty of Engineering.
Students must have achieved a minimum WAM of 75 in their undergraduate degree.
Benefits:
Undergraduate - $15,000 per 48 credit points, paid towards your tuition fees, up to four years.
Postgraduate - $15,000 per 48 credit points, paid towards your tuition fees.
Number offered
Undergraduate - 25 scholarships will be offered per year.
Postgraduate - 25 scholarships will be offered per year.
Selection criteria:
Awarded to the highest achieving commencing students
To retain this scholarship:
Recipients must maintain a minimum of Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70.
How to apply:
This scholarship cannot be deferred.
No application is required. All students will be automatically assessed.
Coming from a single-income family, receiving a higher achiever scholarship has significantly eased the financial strain of starting university, especially as an international student. This support not only reduces the need for a part-time job but also allows me to pursue my hobbies with more freedom. I am incredibly fortunate and grateful for the opportunity provided by Monash University.
